I need some volunteers who are willing to test a new Patcher System I have coded recently. This way I can easier implement stuff because I have more skills in this Coding Language as I have in NSIS scripting...
NOTE: This is for Windows 7! It has been successfully tested by myself in a VirtualBox and on my "real" Computer. If you find any bugs or problems please report them to me.
Working on all versions of Windows 7 (Starter, Home, Professional, ... | 32-/64-Bit) with SP1!
The Gnome-Colors Patcher, which is based on vertigosity's Super Turbo Tango Patcher, is a mostly self-explanatory graphical wizard designed to make simple the process of modifying your system files with resources developed by the Gnome-Colors Project, which is mostly inspired/based on Tango, GNOME, Elementary, Tango-Generator and many other open-source projects. It currently includes implementations of the basic Gnome icon set and the Gnome-Colors icon sets, rounded out with various pieces of artwork created by myself and others. Additionally, it includes a Reloader module to re-modify your files if they are overwritten, allowing system updates to be performed without breaking the theme.
Fix: This Patcher won’t work on Windows8. When trying to install it on Win8 anyway, it will refuse to do so by now. New: sorted the files by categories and components they belong to, making it easier to narrow down bugs. Fix: Several Bugs introduced by IE10: - The Installer caused IE 10 to not work anymore. As a result the installer will check for IE10 and automatically skip patching all the risky files. - “user32.dll” and “shell32.dll” have been moved to “Risky Files” and will be automatically skipped if IE10 is installed. - Video playback also suffered from IE10; therefore “setupapi.dll” has been moved to “Risky Files”, too. Update: Readme converted to PDF
